Notes : This is an uncommon winter visitor to parts of Southeast Asia, including parts of coastal Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo and the Philippines.

Habitat : Inland lake
Notes : This is an uncommon visitor to Southeast Asia, including parts of Myanmar, northern Vietnam, Thailand and Peninsular Malaysia. The example shown here is of the subspecies L. f. graellsii; the subspecies which occurs in Southeast Asia is L. h. heuglini ('Heuglin's Gull')
